Who Was Reading

My students need more challenging books as they have exceeded all expectations in 2nd grade reading. They need 3rd grade level books or higher to continue to challenge them for the last couple weeks!

My Students

My second graders have a lot of ability to excel to higher levels. They are a great group of kids who I want to challenge to work above grade level. I feel these students can achieve so much with the right tools in place.

My students are from a lower socio-economic background, which can make it more difficult to get all the books and supplies needed in school.

This class needs the extra supplies in order to reach higher levels of reading!

My Project

There are all Who Was, What Was, and Where Was books for my students who have grown to like these titles all year. They have read most of the ones in my library. I have chosen ones they have asked for to end the year. We went through the list of books and these were the ones they chose to want to read the most. I want to honor their requests as they have worked hard to improve on reading. Most of my class has reached the 4th grade level of reading and these books will be the perfect challenge for them!
