This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm trying to get a set of Who Was? books for my students. All of my students have lower socioeconomic status and lower reading abilities. These books are perfect for my students to learn about influential people and events in our history.

These books are great because they put important information at a lower comprehension level that my students can understand.

Not only will they be able to understand these books easier than some others, but the fun caricatures and pictures will help the students engage with the books on a different level.
