My school hasn't had a chess club in many years. I wanted to start one, so I began researching the process of receiving the approval of the School Improvement Team. However, before I could start the process, I was approached by students who wanted to form a chess club. The initiative impressed me, and they went through the approval process and we now have a chess club!
Unfortunately, we only have 3 chess sets.
This limits the number of students who can compete at any given time, and that doesn't work for me. I want to encourage as many students as possible, and an additional 15 chess sets will allow us to have all students playing and even expand our club to include more students who want to learn the venerable Game of Kings!
