My students come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. We encourage them to work hard to succeed and overcome their daily obstacles so that they can have a positive school experience. They need a very engaging environment along with creative assignments in order for them to show interest in their school work.
Many of them have had bad past experiences when it comes to their academics.
We work hard every day to put an end to those bad experiences and make school a place where they feel safe and successful.
My Project
We currently have a classroom library and are trying our best to encourage our high schoolers to buy into the idea that reading is both beneficial and enjoyable. There is always room to add incredible titles to our library to encourage reading engagement for the teenagers that we teach.
We want to provide novels that align with the wide variety of interests of our students as we strive to have classrooms full of eager students pumped up to be able to read for activator assignments weekly.The novels in this project are from a wide range of genres and they have been read and enjoyed by thousands.
