My Project
Digital games are a normal part of modern childhood. Some games can be a powerful tool to help children develop certain life skills, A research posted in Review of General Psychology showed that video games can teach problem-solving skills. These games can build brain development as children have to search, negotiate, plan, and try different approaches to advance at various levels.
The content of certain video games can encourage kids to read and research.
Games such as Age of Mythology, Civilization, and Age of Empires can encourage my students to engage in world history, geography, ancient cultures, and international relations.
Video games can be used for infinite social activities. It creates a common ground for young kids to make friends, hang out, and provide structured time with friends. Plus, when kids are having fun, they don't even realize they're learning.
