Who Is Ready to Show Some Panther PRIDE?

My Students

My students are 6th-8th graders, and like most everyone they love getting recognized for doing the right thing, and following our Panther PRIDE!

We encourage our students to be Positive, Respectful, show Integrity, be Diligent and Empathetic!

In the next few weeks, we will be implementing our rewards system for positive behavior. Students are recognized for their positive work and effort.

My Project

I am a huge proponent of positive reinforcement. We have successfully used similar programs in all the schools I have worked to reinforce students for following our school-wide expectations. At CMS we follow Panther PRIDE (Positivity, Respect, Integrity, Diligence, Empathy). We have lessons throughout the school year to instill these traits into our students.

Our new program will give students "tickets" for displaying Panther PRIDE and going above and beyond in the classroom.

These items will be an additional incentive to recognize students. Most everyone likes to be recognized and rewarded! I know I do!
