My Students

My students are tiny, energetic learners with a passion to explore and grow. I strive every day to instill values, knowledge, and confidence into their growing minds. They come to school ready to learn and take on the world! I work at an inner-city school where most of the students start the school year off at a disadvantage due to their socioeconomic status and home life situations. All of the students at my school qualify for 100% free breakfast and lunch. Despite the challenges and obstacles my students face, you can always find them smiling, laughing and learning! They love being at school because they feel safe, nurtured and proud!

My Project

My students learn through literacy and math centers which are all handmade by yours truly! It is hard to keep these centers in mint condition when they are not laminated and protected. Having a laminator will help me ensure the centers are durable, long lasting and effective. With the ability to laminate at the drop of a hat, all my centers will last for years to come so many more children can access them and learn through them! A laminator will also help us to laminate our weekly poems, classroom labels, and visuals. Please help us fulfill this classroom wish of ours!
