Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hands-on STEAM activities can really help engage students on the autism spectrum, as they often benefit from experiential learning and visual aids. Students need to learn about many different things in science. We have many units that we need to learn to have several of them end with a science lab would do wonders to connect the lessons with the actual things they do.
By implementing these strategies and hands-on lab activities, I can create a more inclusive learning environment that empowers all students, including those on the autism spectrum, to participate fully in STEAM education.
This not only fosters engagement but also builds confidence and important social skills.
Focusing on areas like matter, force and motion, magnetic force, alternative energy, and rockets provides a fantastic framework for engaging students in hands-on, meaningful science learning.
