This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a 3rd grade dual language teacher in Glendale, Arizona. My students embody many different cultures, ethnicities, races, and backgrounds. Additionally, there are a multitude of different social-emotional learning needs that students have within the public education system today.
This book list is a representation of both who my students are, and what they need in order to thrive.
By helping us to boost our classroom library, you will be playing a part in creating a learning environment where students see themselves and hear the importance of their voices.
