This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Whiteboards are used extensively in our classroom for math, spelling, and reading activities to show what we know! However, ours are hand-me-downs and are getting harder and harder to erase. With a new set of whiteboards, markers, and erasers, there will be no stopping us! Showing what we know will be so much easier and we'll be able to erase quickly and move on to show more and more of what we know.
We are also needing a place for students to collect graded work and papers that need to go home so a mailbox will be a great addition to keep our classroom running smoothly!
The manipulatives will be put into use at the teacher table to build words and to visually explain addition and subtraction with regrouping. This will help students tremendously! Students learn better with manipulatives because they can work with the materials and learn with touch. Thank you for your help!
