My Project
In alignment with the research-based strategies from Building Thinking Classrooms by Peter Liljedahl, I’m seeking whiteboards to transform my classroom into a dynamic, thinking-rich environment. Vertical non-permanent surfaces—like whiteboards—play a key role in promoting collaboration, risk-taking, and active problem-solving. When students work in randomized groups on vertical boards, they engage more deeply, communicate more effectively, and become comfortable sharing their ideas publicly. These whiteboards will help shift the focus from passive learning to student-driven thinking, fostering equity, creativity, and meaningful participation for every learner, every day.
