My Students

I am a teacher in high-poverty/low-income school. My students face many challenges every day in and out of the classroom. My goal as their teacher is to provide them with as many learning opportunities as I can.

My students walk through my classroom door every day excited to learn and share about their life experiences.

As their teacher I strive is to make them feel loved, valued, heard and show them that they have the ability to reach their full potential.

My Project

By providing my students with the classroom essentials of sharpened pencils, personal whiteboards, and disinfecting wipes our classroom be clean AND efficient. Due to the demographics of my students, they are not always able to provide some of these basic classroom needs.

With these supplies and materials my students will be able to get THE MOST out of their in-person learning experience they have missed so much.

I want my students to be able to walk into my class and know they won't be stopped from learning due to not having a sharpened pencil ready to go. I also want my students to be as healthy as possible. My classroom goes through at least 60 wipes a day to ensure the surfaces are clean between class switches. Lastly, the personal whiteboards will allow my students to show their thinking in the moment through quick checks and review games! Overall, these supplies will help ensure my students have what they need to succeed!
