This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have recently taken a shine to writing and they especially love to write on whiteboards. They can be used to pose a question, or copy a favorite sentence. They can be used in ELD to write different dialogue choices to support English speaking. Students collect data on them and they use for math problems.

Today I see we don't have quite enough boards, and some are permanently marked up and not clean or fun to use.

Refreshing our classroom stock and distributing the pens and cute erasers will keep them writing the rest of the year.

Most of my students do not speak English at home and so they need to constantly be writing and developing their vocabulary. These items will be well loved and well used.
