In kindergarten, we spend so much of our year learning to identify and write letters and how to use those letters to make names, words, and sentences. To stay engaged, we often use hands-on materials such as whiteboards and magnetic letters.
Kindergartners need tactile objects in order to learn at their best.
We are hoping to provide our kinders with magnetic whiteboards that they can use with Expo markers or the magnetic letters that are included in our project. We also want to provide some jumbo magnetic letters and storage containers to organize the magnets for easy access!
