Whiteboards for Teaching

Help me give my students traditional and basic learning tools. I don't have access to a functioning whiteboard in my classroom. It is difficult to provide instruction when I can't display or demonstrate for the whole class.

My Students

Many of my students work hard to obtain a clear understanding of English as a second language. They come from low income and oppressed backgrounds living in a boarder community.

These students are not given many advantages and funding.

They deserve better from all of us as a community and a country. Books and supplies are in short supply as parents don't have the funds to donate and there are no available funds for the teachers to use in the classrooms.

My Project

Working with my kids everyday I have found that they need more visual aids and demonstrations that I cannot easily provide without some basic tools.

Whiteboards may seem like a standard in classrooms, however our school is underfunded.

I would like to obtain these whiteboards to round out my ability to teach and demonstrate concepts.

The large board will be a great visual anchor for learning and instruction. The easel will provide mobile instructional displays for small groups and alternative learning environments. I would like my kids to have these simple and basic tools to show them what they need to accomplish everyday.
