My students are a diverse group of hard workers! They come to school every day excited to learn something new. All of my students are capable of great things, and need opportunities to access technology in order to succeed.
My third grade classroom is made up of 21 amazing students - most come from low income families and one-third are English Language Learners.
My goal as a teacher is to provide my community of learners with creative, challenging, and meaningful learning experiences every day. Despite the many challenges my students experience outside of school, they know that when they walk through the door of our classroom I expect their best, and I will do all I can to help them reach their potential.
My students come in every day excited to read the morning message from the whiteboard in the front of our room, and to use our class whiteboard to record and display their learning. Unfortunately, our current whiteboard is very old, dented and scratched. Even with daily cleaning it is difficult to read from, since the previous writing leaves marks.
My class needs a bigger and better whiteboard so our classroom can reflect the amazing learning we do every day.
We use our whiteboard all the time, and having a newer and bigger one would give us a chance to show even more clearly what awesome learning is happening in the classroom.
