My students need whiteboards to use during STEM and mathematics lessons. In first grade, students learn about place value as well as addition and subtraction concepts. Whiteboards allow for hands on mathematics activities.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are Lep: 85% and are very needful, whiteboards will definitely be a plus. I can use them for STEM & Math word problems. They will be very useful. Lep students need many activities that are hands on. The whiteboards provide them with motivational learning!

My students will engage themselves & be motivated when learning concepts about STEM & Math.

I do have more girls than boys, but overall they are a gr8 class! Utilizing whiteboards for STEM & Math wiil make the learning hands-on. I am looking forward to using them in class.

My Project

First graders need many opportunities for hands on activities. The whiteboards would provide opportunities for my students to practice mathematical concepts. Whiteboards would also help students demonstrate their learning in a hands on way during STEM units. Whiteboards are a gr8 tool!

Whiteboards help first graders stay motivated & engaged during Math and STEM lessons.

They will be motivated to learn STEM & Math. They provide a quick way to assess learning and provide immediate feedback to students who need extra support. I can't wait to utilize them! I will definitely use them. Thank you for considering our project! Thank you.
