This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I use whiteboards daily in my classroom. My Kinder students love using whiteboards because it is easy for them to erase if they make mistakes. Using whiteboards also saves a lot of trees. The whiteboards I have right now are stained and not magnetic. The whiteboards I am asking for my very young students are magnetic.

Magnetic whiteboards would change how I use them in my classroom.

I love using whiteboards during my phonics lessons because students can easily erase a letter to write a new word. By using magnetic whiteboards, I would be able to give my students magnetic letters. Students can move the letters and write the words on their whiteboards. This is so beneficial because it helps students practice writing. These whiteboards also have handwriting lines to help students write nicely.
