This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 30 lovely kindergarteners all in one classroom with another teacher in the classroom. We are a very active class and always on the run learning new things every day. Our class has a wide variety of students. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds or hold a paintbrush.
Our group loves to play outside, learn new games, and boogie to a sweet tune.
With many kids coming from different lifestyles our children do not have the privilege of having fun activities at home.
My Project
When it comes to active engagement, nothing beats a hands-on approach. Dry erase boards can be used with EVERY student with EVERY lesson. My students need dry erase boards for math, phonics, and writing lessons. It is such a quick tool to have available to utilize in the classroom.
Dry erase boards can also be a quick assessment tool to see who is mastering the skill.
Dry erase boards save on paper and help our environment. Best of all, students LOVE to use dry erase boards because they are FUN and INTERACTIVE! PLease help our classroom receive whiteboards for each student to practice their writing skills
