My Project

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your ongoing support of my classroom and to share with you my vision for creating a thinking classroom environment.

The items I have requested, specifically the vertical whiteboards and accessories, will play a crucial role in fostering a dynamic learning atmosphere where students feel empowered to take risks and explore problem-solving strategies collaboratively.

The vertical whiteboards will serve as a focal point for my classroom activities, providing a versatile space for brainstorming, problem-solving, and visualizing concepts. Research has shown that when students engage with material on a whiteboard, they are more willing to take chances and make mistakes, as the medium feels less permanent than traditional pen and paper. This encourages a growth mindset and cultivates a positive attitude towards learning.

With the addition of whiteboard accessories such as markers, erasers, and magnetic manipulatives, students will have the tools they need to actively engage with content and develop effective problem-solving skills. By working together on whiteboards, students will not only strengthen their individual problem-solving abilities but also hone their team-building skills as they collaborate to find solutions to challenging word problems and tasks.
