My Project

The tech requests in this project will help keep me in the classroom as well as allow me to roam the classroom instead of being stuck at the board when working out example problems. When I am short on copies, I have to run to the lounge to print more, whereas a printer in the room would make this process quicker and easier, as well as help me stay in the classroom.

Students despise showing work when it comes to pencil paper, but give them a whiteboard and dry erase marker and they have no problem working out their practice problems!

Because of this, our classes go through a ton of dry erase markers, and the white boards are starting to become overused. Having the extra supplies on hand would help keep students working hard on their assignments.

Having the iPad will help me be able to move around the classroom during instruction, as I will be able to connect this to the smartboard in the classroom for class notes and examples. This will better help me see which students may need extra help as well!
