Whiteboards and markers and whole group learning Oh My!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With individual whiteboards and markers for each student, math time becomes more fun, involved, and engaging. Students love answering questions on their onw whiteboards, and they are automatically more engaged in the materials. I find that many of my students want to answer during whole-group learning, and often get bummed out when I don't call on each and every one of them. With the whiteboards, everyone will be able to answer each question, and I will also be given the opportunity to formatively assess their learning.
The standing desk will allow me to project my lessons at the front of the classroom.
Currently, the laptop and HDMI cord are connected to a small table that sits near the front. The standing desk will also allow me to put some of my belongings with my laptop (i.e. attendance sheet, projector controllers, curriculum manuals, etc.).
