This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My PreK scholars are amazing. They are curious, kind, hardworking, and hilarious. These awesome scholars show up to school each day with a level of excitement and enthusiasm that inspires me to do all I can to create positive early learning experiences for each and every one of them.

We are a school family.

My PreK scholars and I are committed to nurturing a positive classroom community in our school. As members of the elementary school family, we do our best to make our namesakes proud of our hard work.

I feel honored to spend each day supporting my scholars as they develop new skills and build relationships with one another.

My Project

Whiteboards are fantastic learning tools for PreK scholars! They enable us to practice writing letters, numbers, shapes, and words and then simply erasing when we are done!

Having a whiteboard for each scholar will support academic learning, fine motor skills, and independence!

We use whiteboards all the time in our classroom and I look forward to each kiddo having their own board to use at school and then take home over the summer. We also will benefit from having erasers and magnets in the classroom.
