Help me give my students mobile, vertical whiteboards so they may collaborate and work on challenging math problems together.

My Project

I have taught 7th and 8th grade math for 35 years, all in the same school! We are a very diverse, Title I school. I love my students and their desire to learn, despite the barriers the majority of them face.

The ability to incorporate vertical whiteboards would allow my students to work in small, collaborative groups while also promoting movement, voice, and engagement in my math classroom.

We currently use individual whiteboards to practice math in a more engaging way. Vertical whiteboards would allow all students, even quiet ones, the ability to share their thinking, making the classroom more inclusive. This will lead to deeper engagement, proficiency, and understanding of the math.

These vertical whiteboards would be perfect for my students, as they are portable and double sided so they would allow flexibility in how to use them.
