My classroom is in dire need of whiteboards and dry-erase markers. During math instruction, it is difficult to determine if students understand the concept unless I have a way for them to connect what I'm teaching with their own personal knowledge of the subject matter.
My students are awesome!
They need a way to show me that they comprehend what I'm teaching through using these whiteboards. Oftentimes, my kids do not have a way to show me what they know. I'd really like to give them a way to express themselves, and to have a way to have a hands-on experience during math or science time. I do not have the funds necessary to help these kids learn more productively, but I know it would help immensely.
My Project
These resources will change how my students learn. I intend on using these supplies for science and math. Students will learn how to express themselves during these lessons, and be able to show me what they know during each particular lesson. In particular, I wanted to use these whiteboards during math review to ensure that students understand the subject matter.
Please help my kids!
I feel strongly about these kids having a way to insert themselves into the lessons I am teaching. The only way to do this is to have a chance at getting each of them to respond personally to the lesson. I want each one of my kids to participate in my lessons, and the only way they can do this is to use the whiteboards personally. Please help me fund this project!
