Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a 4th grade teacher in Harlem, New York, I am excited to request a wheeled whiteboard for our classroom. This versatile tool will allow me to model lessons more effectively and provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of my students. With this new whiteboard, I aim to enhance our learning environment and support each student’s educational journey.

The wheeled whiteboard will make a significant difference in our classroom in the following ways: Enhanced Instructional Flexibility: The mobility of the wheeled whiteboard allows me to move it around the classroom easily, facilitating various teaching styles and group configurations.

Whether working with the whole class, small groups, or individual students, the whiteboard can be positioned where it’s needed most.

The ability to easily reconfigure the classroom setup enables me to provide tailored instruction to meet the diverse needs of our students. I can create visual aids, diagrams, and interactive activities that cater to different learning styles and levels, making lessons more accessible and engaging.

Using the wheeled whiteboard to model and explain lessons more effectively ensures all students can understand and engage with the material. The whiteboard will also enhance my ability to provide personalized learning experiences that address each student's varied needs and strengths. Finally, it will create opportunities for students to work together and interact with the material dynamically and flexibly.

Our Harlem students are incredibly resilient and talented. They come from diverse backgrounds and face various challenges, but they approach their education with enthusiasm and determination.

Your support will help us create a more interactive and practical learning environment, making a meaningful impact on our students’ educational experiences. Thank you for considering our project!
