My Project
This whiteboard table will be used in a variety of ways in our classroom. The main reason we'll use the board is for small groups during our Math block. Students often use smaller whiteboards in order to work through problems. With a table opportunity, students have more room to work through a problem collaboratively! They can draw proof pictures to demonstrate their learning.
Another reason this will be a useful stool is to be able to show Math procedures to students.
While it's important for them to explore with manipulatives, they'll maintain that opportunity via the table and I'll be able to add numerals to their demonstrations built with manipulatives. This will be a useful tool to bridge hands-on Math with conceptual Math!
