My Students

My fifth-grade students are amazing. My students come to school every day ready to learn and willing to work hard. My class is made up of many different needs, including students with special needs, limited language acquisition, and high achieving needs. My students work hard every day to succeed. We use many different strategies to achieve success and many of these strategies are thanks to DonorsChoose.org. We have received furniture, chapter books, and technology from amazing donors.

We work hard all year long.

Having available resources helps my students become successful.

My Project

I am very fortunate to have a kidney table in my class. We use it for group settings, but it's massive and my classroom is already not very large. I fit anywhere between 30-35 students in my classroom at one time.

Having a rectangular whiteboard table would both solve a spatial problem, and allow for some awesome creativity!

My students could work in groups to solve any type of problem using the table, and they can write on it! I envision lots of math problems being solved on this table by groups pf students. They could even solve it using multiple methods, showing all their work.
