Whiteboard Table for Collaborative Learning

My Project

For my project, I am asking for a whiteboard table. My students often meet to collaborate on writing projects, work through math challenges, and peer-teach each other. Lately, I have watched small groups of students huddled around an 8 by 11 piece of paper. The paper is too small for all students to view. I think it would be a wonderful addition to our classroom to have a table with a surface that can be written on and erased over and over again. Many students will fit at this table. They can all have a marker and write their ideas on the table for all to see. I can already see how my students would use this large surface to draw up their outlines for essays, diagram sentences, and list the pros and cons of being an entrepreneur. I would also use this table as a meeting place for students to peer teach each other and draw!
