This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These white boards will help students learn how to write on lines when we are practicing Ufli and learning our words for the week. Our elementary students struggle to write sentences and stay on lines. Our students are mostly monolingual students that have come from another country and have missed going to school. For some of them it is there first time experiencing using markers, white boards and pencils. All these things will provide them opportunity to grow within the grade level. Our students work very hard every day to learn although it is very challenging for them!
