This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a Title 1 school. My students are sweet and eager to learn. Unfortunately they can't afford classroom supplies and we need your help.

We really need those white boards!

My classroom is almost empty and I need your help to make sure that my students have basic items to help with any lesson. My students can't afford to bring markers, colored pencils and other resources. I am hoping to be able to slowly acquire those for my students but now, I need some basic small white boards.

My Project

Students will use the white boards during spelling, phonics, reading groups, and math. Students can used them on the carpet or at their tables. They can be used for a quick assessment or to practice new skills.

Please help us out, we need those white boards!

The white boards will last us for many years and will be used by every student for at least the next 10 years. They will be used daily for many different subjects. Writing things down helps students remember the new concepts better than just listening to the teacher talking. It's a very helpful tool.
