This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a classroom full of energetic and creative first graders. Daily we use whiteboards and dry erase markers to assist us in our learning goals. As you can imagine a product that is used multiple times a day, on the daily, quickly gets used up and worn out. Having new whiteboards, and a continuous supply of dry erase markers will continue to make our phonics instruction possible, and will continue to enhance my first grader's writing skills.

For this project I intend to use these white boards daily in the area of math and phonics.

These materials will be used daily, and they will go a long way in impacting my student's learning. While it is true that every child can learn, it is also true that every child needs tools in their hands to learn effectively. White boards and dry erase markers are some of those tools in my classroom. Thank you for helping us in such a practical way.
