Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to look at our page! I teach 45, 5th grade gifted and talented students at an incredible school in South Carolina.
My students are a diverse group of GATE students who are smart, sensitive, and eager to learn!
We are on a journey of self-discovery and independence this year as we discover what it is that makes us each unique! We focus on hands-on and creative learning while always achieving and striving toward our personal best.
My Project
I love being able to teach math! I teach math both through whole group and small group on a daily basis! White boards in math allow for a quick assessment of student learning! Students are able to hold up math problems or answers and I can check for understanding in an efficient manner. White boards are also used in small groups, as a way to use less paper and play math games.
My students will use these white boards, markers, and erasers to interact with me in my math classroom through positive activities that allow them to show what they know and build their self confidence!
They will be used on a daily basis and well loved for years to come!
