Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach 7th grade life science and health at an inner city middle school.
I need some basic supplies for my classes- supplies that will go a long way. The first thing I would love to have is a white board easel, because my class room only has chalkboards. It is so messy to use, plus it is an old board, so it is hard to see the writing on it. Although, most of my lessons are on power point, sometimes I'd like to do further explaining on the board. I would so much rather have a white board, as it is less messy and the writing on it will be clearer for the kids.
I also would like a class set of scissors, as I do a lot of projects that involve cutting, and I never have enough for each student to have his or her own. That would be very helpful to have in the class.
Having these supplies in my classroom will help some of my lesson go smoother. I know my students and I both would greatly appreciate these supplies.
