Students will be inspecting Greek yogurt under the microscope to observe probiotics and discuss how these \"good bacteria\" contribute to our physical health. Your support truly makes a difference!\r\n\r\nMy students come into 7th grade at all different levels. For some, calculators are just tools to speed up simple calculations they already know how to do so they can focus on more challenging problems. For others with gaps in their learning, calculators are essential for accessing the grade-level content. Your donations help level the playing field and ensure that every student can participate meaningfully, no matter where they're starting from.\r\n\r\nAlthough I encourage families to buy calculators at the beginning of the year, I usually only have two students who bring one. That's why your donation is such a blessing. It's interesting because at the beginning of the year, I start with a full set, but as time goes on, they break, get lost, or accidentally get taken home and not returned. By spring, calculators become rare and precious. As you'll see in the photo, students holding them closely as they solve their equations!\r\n\r\nAs for the snacks—they went quickly! I keep a little stash for students who are hungry, and I also run what my students call \"the store.\" Every week on Friday, they ask, \"Ms. Clark, are we opening the store today?\" They love spending their hard-earned pink tickets on treats, and many of them say it's one of their favorite things about the class. In middle school math, you celebrate every win, and \"the store\" has been a fun and effective motivator.\r\n\r\nWhat you donated contributed not just to their learning, but to their morale and motivation.
