Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are saving paper everyday by using white boards! My students are using white boards to solve math problems and stay connected to the lessons in class.
My third and fourth grade students live in a suburb of a large city.
Many of them speak a second language at home and they are on free or reduced lunch. They attend a large school that has 7 classes of third and fourth graders. My students are also some of the hardest workers that I have had. They are energetic and eager to learn.
My Project
We use white boards to do many different lessons. I can easily check in on their work and see if they understand. The white boards help us to save on paper, which we have a short supply of. I am asking for markers to use on the white boards, because many of ours are dried out and are not working as well as they used to. I also would like to have colored markers so my students can use them during social studies when coloring in maps.
Help my class do their work and save paper at the same time.
White board markers will allow them to show their work and solve problems without using paper. The white board markers will allow them to work on math, social studies and many other subjects during the school day.
