This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This upcoming year I really want to encourage my students to read. I want to create spaces in our classroom where students can feel comfortable reading for certain periods of the day.

By having flexible seating it allows students to choose their space and take control of their own learning.

I always envision my classroom where students are scattered in different areas of the room and reading with leisure. I always struggle to sit and read for long periods of time so I can only imagine how my students would feel. With these bean bags I want it to be the start of our comfortable classroom journey!
