Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Part of our school's mission is to create a culture of hope and optimism for our students, staff, and community. We pride ourselves on creating positive, caring relationships with our students.

Just one caring adult can make all of the difference in the life of a child.

We strive to make those connections with our students to help them develop hope about their future and resilience to bounce back from setbacks.

Every child deserves to attend school in a safe and caring environment, with adults who have consistent, high expectations for their success!

My Project

By providing our students with identification badges, we are giving them an opportunity to be recognized. Staff and students will be able to address each other by first names, and also award points for positive behavior!

When students feel that they are part of the community, we create a safe and positive environment for them to learn!

All of our students will have a badge that displays their name, and our school logo. We always discuss the positive traits that all Spitalny Tigers display. Now, they will have visual reminder that they are tigers and that our expectations are to be safe, responsible, and respectful!
