Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am almost sure that when you read you don't sit at a desk all day. We usually find a comfortable place and we make ourselves cozy with that special book. Well, that's just what I would like my students to have. I know that my 21 fourth-graders at Telpochcalli school enjoy reading during their independent reading time. Yet, I am positive that even the reluctant readers would enjoy this time even more, if they had a comfortable seating area. A bean-bag chair would make our library area much more inviting and cozy. I know that each of my students will await their turn to sit at that spot. Help create my classroom library more accessible for reading and boost the enjoyment of my readers.
