My Project

When my Pre-K students enter my classroom they have to stand on their tippy toes to reach the hooks to hang their backpacks up. Help me provide my students a safer way to hang their backpacks, put their lunch boxes away, and a shelf to put their school work in.

Promoting independence in Pre-K is one of our main goals!

Students with Autism and other related disabilities thrive on rules and procedures. This new unit will allow my students to walk in, hang their backpacks up, and then continue on to the rest of their daily schedules. Frustration can occur when a student has to wait for a teacher to help them hang their stuff or things end up on the floor which causing a safety hazard. This unit will eliminate these obstacles!
