Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a Special Education Teacher and I teach a self-contained 4th grade class. My students are ready to learn every single day they walk into the classroom. My school is a Title I school and students come from low income households; all students receive free breakfast and lunch. The students in my class come from Spanish speaking households.
Being a Special Education Teacher I want to make sure my students feel special everytime they walk through the classroom doors.
My Project
Thanks for our amazing donors, my classroom has received over 150 guided reading books. I currently have classroom bins to place all these books in, but I still need more. Please help my class get these bins, and neatly be able to place all their books in the correct guided reading level section. I am also asking for laminating sheets and colored ink for our printer. I like to keep my work on the bulletin board and make sure that it lasts all year. By having laminating sheets I can make this possible. The ink will allow the classroom to have a splash of color.
My students love to receive their work in different colors instead of black and white.
