My Project

My students love music. Some of my students want to become better drummers. I have been patching together drum sets to fill our practice rooms to satisfy them with help from Donor Choose. I direct my students from behind a mini bass drum that I purchased from the thrift store next to the waste disposal plant.

My young drummers often ask me "Where are the REST of the drums?" These students are used to seeing complete drum kits with multiple cymbals and tom drums.

Our sets do not have these. And while it is necessary for students to master the bass drum, hi-hat, and snare drum trio before moving on to flashier patterns, it would be nice to have a drum set that provides opportunities for those flashy drum styles.
