This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are kind, energetic, enthusiastic, and curious students who need your help to grow and learn! We are in a large urban district. The majority of our students are low income second language learners. We have a strong sense of community within our school and classroom.

We enjoy working together and supporting each other in our learning as we read, problem solve, create, and design.

We are curious and love to ask questions and learn together. We hope you can enhance our classroom and help us grow and learn!

My Project

We are lucky to have a huge classroom library with a variety of books. But how can you find the books you want to read with such a full library? Where do you even start? Looking at our library can be overwhelming for a second grader. Please help us organize a library by sorting the books into these colorful book bins.

My students are more likely to read if they can easily find books that interest them.

Help sort the books by genre, authors, and interest so my students can fall in love with books and reading. I do not want my students wasting time searching through the entire library. Help us label and organize our library with these colorful bins.
