Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is a school with great kiddos, but most are from low-income families. We have parents that have to work 3 jobs just to make sure they can put food on their table. Therefore, these supplies will help not only students but also teachers and parents.

This project gives students the opportunity to have basic supplies on hand.

Disinfecting wipes to ensure that germs are being wiped clean, tissues for when allergies kick in, dry erase markers so that students may participate in class when they are using their white boards to work out math problems or even sometimes to communicate with others, and pencils so that students don't have to run around finding one.

The students at our school are resilient, loving, eager to learn, helpful amongst many more things. This is a special project because its not just for my students but for all students at the school.
