Help me give my students the joy of math through games! I have requested a variety of math center and math Folder Game materials to enhance our learning in a fun new way!

My Students

M.V. students represent one of the most diverse groups of young people in the country. In our school, families come from all walks of life, and we come together for school each day. Our students are special because we have such a strong sense of community and inclusion here. We have a growth mindset, and we remember that mistakes are opportunities to learn more than we ever thought possible. At our school adults work hard to make every student feels welcomed and valued. In return we see awesome kids working hard, persisting and supporting each other!

My Project

I want to expand the math experience for my students by including fun and valuable math centers and games. I have requested materials that focus on all strands of math. With engaging centers and folder games, students can look forward to a fun change in format from our traditional lessons. I would love to use "Math Folder Game Libraries - Gr. 2-3" because it offers games for virtually every math concept for 2nd and 3rd grade. I also selected "Elapsed Time Instant Learning Center", "Beginning Multiplication Instant Learning Center", "Problem Solving Instant Learning Center" and "Beginning Multiplication Instant Learning Center" because these are major mathematical areas in which my students always need extra support.

Imagine students around the room, some working at their desks with partners, some getting special help from their teacher, and another group enjoying a set of math games geared at mastery of their subject!

I can make this a a reality with the addition of high quality math games. I want to pass on my love of mathematics by ensuring that their experience with math is a positive one. As we focus on STEM in our classrooms, I want to be sure to reinforce their basic math skills in a fun and engaging way. Thank you for making it possible!
