My students need a various assortment of 3D supplies such as clay, crayola dough, and sculpt-it to explore the elements of art. This is true hands-on activity!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Heather's classroom raised $607
This project is fully funded
My Students
Our school is Title One . We have a diverse group of multi- talented creative learners! In order to elevate creativity, the children work best while moving and freely choosing their media to create.
Our community is a very diverse group of creative children.
They all deserve the right to all kinds of art mediums to express themselves and increase their levels of free flowing creative ideas. They thrive everyday when they feel safe to express themselves through their art.
My Project
Our students will take line, shape, color and texture and incorporate all of these elements into form. The 3D exploration station will be stocked with clay and sculpture supplies to freely explore. The exploration of 3D materials will lead to further development or hand eye coordination, and fine motor skills. Practice manipulating the materials will enable the children to use the clay to create beautiful pots and bowls for functional uses.
In the Spring we will be creating functional ceramic pottery.
The pots and bowls that the kids create after exploring all forms of 3D manipulation and form will be sold by the children at the Farmers Market.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
