This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have intellectual disabilities and they are motivated to learn using technology. This MacBook Air will be used as a tool to enhance learning in the classroom. This will be connected to the interactive board so all students can participate in the lesson projected on the board. Students can see on a bigger screen the activities that are prepared to address their needs.
Everyday, my students learn communication, socialization, comprehension, and problem-solving skills in class through differentiated instruction and picture symbols.
This laptop will bridge these instructions on the Smartboard so students get to see them clearly, hear them well and receive feedback responses when they take part on each lesson.
My students perform best when they are provided with meaningful and appropriate instructions based on their cognitive levels. When all of these are carefully prepared by the teacher, students are engaged by performing the given tasks and positive results or progress are manifested by individual students.
