When I Look at My Students I See Unlimited Possibilities

My students need construction paper, finger paint, glue, markers, crayons and scissors to participate in engaging, fun, and hands-on lessons in order to channel their personal creativity and expression.

My Students

They like to move, they love to read and love lots of positive attention. Our classes serve students with a range of disabilities such as autism, multiple disabilities, downs syndrome, and learning disabilities. We require lots of hands-on activities and craft projects to make learning more tactile, fun, and engaging.

From the minute they walk in the door of my classroom I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me.

I learn just as much from them as they do from me!

My Project

I am going to be at a new school starting in September. My students are on the autism spectrum and need hands-on activities in order to provide engaging classroom activities. Puppets and reward systems are key components in classroom management and creating good rapport with my students.

Learning cannot take place without respect.

I am also in need of classroom essentials such as glue, scissors, border, and bulletin board letters to create an inviting classroom environment for this coming school year.

I see unlimited possibilities in my students and so should you. Help me create these opportunities for them! Let us start the 2018-2019 off on a high note.
