Help me give my students a copy of the book Wonder by R.J. Palacio. We will be reading this book for the last few weeks of school to learn about being kind.

My Project

I am requesting 60 copies of the book Wonder to help my students learn about the importance of being kind and treating others with respect.

My students really struggle with being kind to each other, so I hope this book will help them learn to treat others with kindness.

Also, with all the technology in students lives right now, they aren’t reading as much as kids used to. I hope reading this book not only teaches them about kindness and respect, but also for them to find a love of reading.

I have activities planned each day to go along with the parts that they read, to keep them engaged and comprehending what happens throughout the book.

After we finish the book, I plan to show the movie on the last day of school, as part of our end of year celebration.
