it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love learning through movement and discovery, and few things grab their attention like a racing Hot Wheels car flying down a track! With this project, I'm requesting Hot Wheels cars and tracks to create an engaging, hands-on lab where students explore key physics concepts such as speed, distance, time, and Newton’s 3 Laws of Motion. By timing how fast cars travel over different distances or testing the effect of slope and friction, students will connect math and science in a way that feels exciting, memorable, and real.
These materials will help transform our classroom into a mini physics lab where students become the scientists.
They'll make predictions, run tests, calculate results, and revise their thinking — all while having fun. Your support will bring energy and motion to our lessons and help students gain a deep understanding of physical science through active, inquiry-based learning. With your help, we can put science in their hands (and on the track)!
